What is AIRFLOW® + guided biofilm therapy, and how does it work?
AIRFLOW® + Guided Biofilm Therapy is an advanced, minimally invasive cleaning method that uses a special dye to highlight bacterial biofilm (plaque) on teeth. The biofilm is then gently removed using an air-polishing system, which is precise, effective, and comfortable for patients.
Is AIRFLOW® + GBT more effective than traditional teeth cleaning methods?
Yes, AIRFLOW® + GBT is considered more effective because it targets the biofilm directly, which is a primary cause of gum disease and cavities. Traditional cleanings may miss some of the deeper bacterial layers, while AIRFLOW® + GBT removes them thoroughly with minimal discomfort.

How much of the cost will be covered by my insurance?
Coverage varies based on your plan, treatment type, and network provider. We will verify what’s covered by your insurance 24-48 hours before your scheduled appointment, and can assist with filing claims to ensure you get the maximum benefits.

How far in advance should I book my appointment?
We are now open and available for same-day appointments! It’s always best to book as early as possible, especially if you prefer a specific time or date. For cleanings, booking anywhere from 2-4 weeks in advance is usually sufficient, but for specialty treatments or during busy periods, booking a couple of months ahead is recommended. Give us a call and we’ll check our availability!
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Most dental offices have a cancellation or rescheduling policy, which may require 48 hours notice. If you cancel too late, you may be charged a fee. It’s important to call as soon as possible to avoid any penalties and to find a new time that is most convenient for you.
